BOSTON (CBS) – Pets may be merely animals, but they quickly become members of the family as well. When a pet passes away, the pain and loss can feel just as devastating as losing a loved one. It’s hard to know for sure whether or not pets join us in the afterlife, but most pet owners have wondered at one time or another whether they will see their beloved companions again. Rob Gutro joins NightSide with some good news for those hoping to see their pets on the other side. A meteorologist by trade, Gutro first discovered he could receive messages from spirits as a teenager. As he has gotten older, he has honed his skills and communicated with many people who have passed away. But he has also heard from the spirits of dogs and cats, including his own late canine pal who first made contact in 2005. Tune in to hear all about Rob’s experiences.
